The party traditional in Mexico is an eminently social phenomenon, and as in other civilizations has its roots in religious events in different ways affect the population. THE DANCE
represents a social and family cohesion as it is an important element in the realization of the party. both offer ways to fulfill a vow or promise that enrich and give meaning to join the party and inherit and pass on this knowledge.
In the state of Durango as a host of other sites in the Mexican republic Catholic holidays are celebrated in honor of the patron saint of the place although the tradition is similar in its origin and meaning of the creative capacity of its people allowed to establish characteristics that distinguish them from the other one traditional dance that is located in ceremonial context, meaningful religious magic.
