Yalissa Forming Cross on cello and Gabriel Robles on bass respectively, was founded in 2001 in the city of Xalapa, Veracruz as part of the chamber music class that taught in the Faculty of Music at the Universidad Veracruzana the teacher Timothy McKeown. Gaia has been given the task of collecting compositions made specifically for this envelope so unusual instrumental and adaptation of works made for other instruments in order to disseminate to the public the sound of cello and bass through the implementation of repertoire ranging from Renaissance times to the contemporary period and clearly shows the technical development and performance style of these instruments.
